I Made It to Norway!

Dear MOM and family!
well sorry it has taken me so long to get an e post send out to everyone but i can assure you this letter will not be short in anymanner! i wont lie typing on a norwegian keyboard although its basically the same sucks! haha but any way so norway is absolutly beautiful and its full of amazing and wonderfull people that speak incredible norwegian and i stuggle very much to understand all of it and i wont lie it makes me very angry sometimes! i want to be able to express myself in so many ways but being pacient is one of the keys and i will be able to speak it eventually! well so i wanted to tell you a story to start off with
so on our connecting flight from chicago i had the wonderfull oppertunity to sit next to a very nice german lady! we talked for almost 5 hours and there was always something to talk about and it was very entertaining! well at first i simply asked her how her day was and where she was going and all the goods and she asked me where i was going which of course brought up the best reasons and all the good stuff i wanted to talk about! well she asked me what i was reading and luckky for me she was a very religious but yet very open to ideas and other understandings! i taught her the first lesson and then basically after that we talked about families and how important they were to her and she had alot to say and i gave her quite a bit to think about she has had quite the marriage experiacne with her husband and cant have kids because she only wants to have them if she knows her husband will be there. he has been stuggling with cancer for around 20 years and still lives but he is never given more than about 6 months to maybe a year and some how pulls through but she believed that she would see him again and if he dies its fine! i didnt bring up the plan of salvation till we were about to get off the plane and i gave her a helfe or a pamphlet on everything i didnt have a book of mormon and i was so sad i didnt have one! but i told her that families can be together forever even after this life and she just had this grin on her face and she thanked me with all her heart for sharing that message with her and she absolutly loved it! i wastn able to get her name and i dont know how i even for got to ask her? but anyway i pray for her that the missionaries will find her and she kind of lives like two hours south west of nurmberg? but anyway it starts with a G? but i know she would fully accept the gospel with open arms!
well anyway norway is absolutly incredible and there is alot of work to be done and my companion eldste sutton is so great and we really do match perfectly i dont think we will have any problems getting along our wholle time we are together! well if you have not haad the chance to look up where moss is it is not to far off from Oslo only about 40 minutes and its full of incredible scenery! it would help if i had my camera but ileft it at the mission home and still havent recieved it so hopefully soon! its been an incredible journey already and its not easy in anymeans when you have to look at people and try to catch the gist of whats going on and yet you cant alwasy catch it! it gets very frustrating and you know me i love to talk and get to know people and some people will put some english if i  really cant understand wich helps some but lets just say that at church........that was all over my head and they talk to fast for me to keep up! they say moss does not have a dialect but that is false they do its just you have to find the people that are actually from moss! if you can they speak the basic bokmål language which is not to hard to understand and its super clear but the others are known to slur alot of things together and it gets reallly rough from there but the good news is people can understand me and i have gotten many compliments on my norwegian accent? i guess i already ahave a dialect? interesting iknow! but my comp is really good at helping and i can ask him how to say just about anything and he can help me! this week has gone by so fast already and tomorrow will be the full week and its been so great so anyway the good i know you want to hear about teaches and everything
well lets just say i am very suprised at as many english lessons i teach!! one lady tatiana who is from portugal has been taking the lessons for about 9 weeks now and she wants to be baptized but yet when ever she makes a date that date will come and then she will just say im not readly but she really is ready she has the grasp on everything! she is great and has a great testimony and i know she will get baptized her very soon! Max who is a native sweeden has been taking lessons quite a bit and only likes to be taught in english for somereason but we talk norwegian at members house well its a mix so its pretty intersting.... but he has really been improving and he came to all of church yesterday and he didnt think it was to bad and was actually with us for about  8 hours yesterday! well the other main person we teach is a native norwegian and she speaks no english and she came to church yesterday to! her name is nina and she is so sweet! such a nice lady and has a little family........just nothing huge or anyting just 14 kids..... she brough five of them to church yesterday! she really liked coming to church and we had a big dinner at one of the members houses yesterday and that went super well we all had a great time! other people that came to church 9 other investigators so it was such a great turn out!
there is so much around us and oh yea so one thing i forgot to say is there is a reason its called moss...... its smells horrible here! but norwegians are very nice people even if they are not interested in the gospel i am suprised how many people will talk to you! well contacting is going good but for some reason kinda funny when ever we end op going contacting we only get people that speak english to accept a message? weird i know! but anyway knocking or banke på is what its called is really fun and people are way more receptive to that and we will have a good chance to go to three houses that we found on friday sometime this week and i am super excited for that! i havent really taught serious discussions in norwegian yet and that is pretty odd but i will have that chance today we are teaching the plan of salvation so im pretty excited for that!
experiances happen everyday in the mission field and its only the beggining and the food is so good!!! we eat at a members house maybe four to five times a week and that is always good and every saturday we eat at a ladies house named bibi and she lives by her self and is a natural born MISSIONARY! she knows the gospel so well and she also expects us to eat the massive meals she makes for us everyweek! and then dessert....!
well i cant wait to her from you and everything! post my new address on facebook please and send me letters and what not and keep in touch! give my email out to bradleyf at mylds.net post that up so if people dont want to send letters that would be great! so i guess i need to buy fotball cleats soon? big thing to have here so might need some cash for that its like 200kr? so about 50 bucks i am not sure somewhere in that area but thats really all i need right now and once i get my camera i will send home the sd card so hopefullly soon!!!!
i miss and  love all of you but its incredible here!
LOVE YOU SON
