A Good Week!

heisann familie!! WELL its has been quite the week and we have had such a good week and it has been filled with experiances and tons of fun and full of everthing! well i will start from the begining with monday which is my pday and last monday we went krab catching on the beach and that was so fun and let me just say that krabs are some freakin scary things they move like spiders and they are just freaky!! we went with the elders from fredricksted which is not to far from here! they always come up for pdays and we have lots of fun!! well as a tradition on pdays we have to do something fun and for food (since we eat at a members house everyday) we go to this place called campinos which i dont know if anyone has heard unless you have been to some places in europe is a place where you can buy the best food every called kebab! and its nothing like america at all the closest i could say is its like a tortilla but better that has some kind of beef and full of lettuce and corn and tomatoes and what not with this delicous sauce and then its rolled up and its the tastiest thing! i found my camera so i am taking a ton of pictures where ever we go and i will send it home hopefully today or tomorrow so it will be super soon!

   well the lady with 14 kids yes she is not any religion or anything and we go over there to teach her english and try to fit in a spiritual thought its a long story but she wants to become a member but its up to her sambor which means boyfriend who you live with and yes all kids come from him and her but he is not so up for the religion thing but he said he would come to church but he didnt but hopefully next week! but we go over to her house and do service and stuff for her since kids in norway if your not a member do nothing around the house so we do quite a bit of service for the family so she took us to the beach front the other day and we played with some of her kids and had a blast till one of the kids fell in the rocks and gashed his head open but it turned out it wasnt as bad as it looked but she is ready and just needs to get married and all that stuff before she can get baptized and stuff since that is the main thing that holds people back here in norway is no one is married they live together but yet have to sign papers to live together and what not but they all say ohh we dont need paper to show our love.... ok well you already have the papers so get married already!! but yea that nina and her story

   we met a lady from lybia? the other day and she came to chuch with her friend yesterday and they are both pretty interested and i am super excited for both of them! and they came to the dinner we have every second sunday and they thought chuch was pretty interesting and i guess she is interested because a couple weeks ago she heard my comp when he went in to the state church to talke with a man that invited him and then the paster came and got all pissed at him for coming and what not and he handled the situation very calmly and is asking why we dont force people into the chuch and stuff so she is has some great questions!

   well here is the story of the week that actually didnt even happen with my compainon! so on friday my comp had a meeting in oslo and so i drove him there and i got a compainon for the day who was actually the elder that didnt get his work permitt from the last district that came out so we knew each other very well and get a long super well!! so first offf i found my way home from oslo somehow with the guidence of the spirit since driving in oslo is like driving in new york and a gps just doesnt work in the city so i had todo it from memery and good thing i have the lord on my side or i would still be trying to find my way home!! so anyway we went out contacting and we had a little luck and i gave out a book a mormon in the city and all was good and that was about all the success we had in the city and after we had lunch i said lets go hit up this place and go do some knocking and i have wanted to hit up this place we found like the day i got here but we havent had the time so we went there and we got to the first house i said to myself this looks like the right house and it just felt right and that this is the house ineed to go to plus i could tell it had kids so thats a bonus! well we knocked and i asked if i could share a messege on joy and told her we offer service as well and she said she wasnt interested..... really come! i swore this was the house so we went on our way and kept going walking to other houses and tried and the houses we hit kind of went around in a circle and after we had gone to all the houses we had time for since i had to take elder godfrey back we were walking back to the car and i had notice that first house that thhelady was outside and kept looking at us as we were walking around.... little did i know as we walked by her house a gain she came up to us and said actually i am interested please come in and talk with me....seriously did that just happen i said to myself...am i still in norway? so we gave her the first lesson and she was basically right away...what are the rules to your church and how do i join? ok this is nuts i am at this point about to fly into heaven with the spirit i have felt and elder godfrey is blown away!! and we told her our purpose and she said she will talk to her husband... yes this lady is married luckily! and she will talk to him about joining our chuch so i am just so pumped and we left that house with the feeling that the lord does bless us and we are so blessed when we are obediant that is for sure! i have been super obediant and fasted for investigators and its a goal as a mission to have a baptism everymonth so i hope this is where this is starting to go!

   oh yea i forgot to tell you something else also so we teacha lady from portugal and she has been super stubborn we met with her last monday and she has been super close to baptism for about a month now and everything has been getting in the way for tatiana serioulsy! work and these random things and members who are stupid! that tell her that she doesnt have to join the church take your time....ok members need to stay oout sometimes! and say some other things and not criticize our investigators they are people too and we all have problem!! but anyway she said that baptizm wasnt for her and yet she belives in everything and knows its true and she reads everyday and loves it! so we talked for like an 30 minutes on why its inportant and we just said tat give it one more shot read and pray sincerely and we left... i told my comp that we are fasting tonight and tomorrow and the miracles will come and surely enough yesterday when she prayed that she could get off work early to come to chuch she was able to and she told us she had prayed and wanted to talk about baptism again and she is back on track like that... the power of fasting works!

    well you wanted to know about my companion? ok well he is awesome his name is korey sutton he is from kaysville? i believe and he loves music and he is great at the piano and gutair and he loves to sing and he is acutally pretty good! he is always happy and willing to help me! he played lacrosse for alta and he was captian of the football team! he has been her for about 1 1/2 and he understands very well and helps me when i dont understand which is alot! he is very talented and he knows the gospel well and is open for all ideas to help! he was very excited to get me as a companion because he knew i liked to excersize so we run every morning and its great! its his birthday tomorrow so we are going to do somehting fun and we are making better than sex cake tomorrow because thats what he wants:)! sept 13) i dont know what else to say but he is super great!!

  well i am loving it here and its so beautiful and i had my first experiance contacting in the pouring rain and that was way fun! that coat from mr mac is super great! there is alot of work to be done here in moss and its the best family ward in norway and its a place where i fit in well i love families a lot and it fits me perfectly!! i love it here and i want to come back after i come home its so amazing here! i hope everything is well back home and that everyone is doing fine! i am so happy here and its very true i have everyting to smile about because ihave the lord on my side with the holy ghose and jesus christ atonement! i know the gospel is true and know that the gift of tongues is so real i pray for it everyday and my understanding grows along with my speaking abillity its not amazing yet of course but i am blessed with what i  know!! i know the book of mormon is true and its truely and incredible book as i read and study it everyday it gets better and better! my scripture for you this week that i found is alma 5: 45-46 this scripture right here is why we can tell people our messaage is true and why we are members in this church because we are not forced to this chuch we can know for our self if it is true!!
